EMCS Program Office > About Us

The EMCS Program Office, overseen by the EMCS Society and Sooke School District #62, was established in 1987 when Edward Milne Secondary School became a community school. Since that time, the staff have worked to provide education opportunities for people of all ages in the Sooke Region. We continue to grow and change with the needs of the community, and we hope that you will find programs and services that are both useful and timely. We welcome your creative input, so please contact us if you have any great ideas for ways we can further serve the community.

The EMCS Program Office staff are currently working on programs for the Fall 2009 session. We strive to engage talented instructors, and to offer something for everyone. Over the summer, we will be updating the "Community Education" section of our site so that you will know what's coming up this fall. Expect completed updates by the end of July. Please take a moment to look through our course lineup for this season.

For those of you who like to read information on paper, we will have the downloadable version of our fall program available at the end of July. Bookmark us and check in later this summer to see what's coming up for the fall! To view this file, you will need Adobe Acrobat Reader, which is a free download available at this link: get Adobe Acrobat Reader here.
